This app is divided into two parts as follows: 1. A serverless app that runs in the background and automatically deletes Agents, Requesters, and tickets based on the settings you choose on the installation page. 2. A full-page app that users with the right permissions can use to access detailed information about other agents and requesters, as well as generate a PDF report on other agents and requesters. This app has permission-based features that prevent other agents from being able to delete someone else's account or data. On the installation page, you can choose who has full access to the app by selecting a role group that can delete both requesters and agents. On the installation page, you can also choose when the app should run. You have the option to run the app every day or every week. Additionally, you can select and activate various functions directly on the installation page, such as automatic deletion of agents, requesters, and tickets after a specified time chosen on the installation page. This app has been developed by Synerity (https://synerity.eu) Your partner of choice if your organization wants more from their internal and external service and support solutions. At Synerity we are able to help you with your own custom solutions, integrations and apps. Please send us an email at support@synerity.se, and one of our customer representatives will get back to you shortly.
Step 1: Enter the API key and domain name for your Freshservice account. Step 2: To view all role groups, click on the refresh button with green arrows on the right side. This will allow the app to fetch all groups. Then, select the group that should have the rights to delete users. Step 3: Choose how often the automatic part of the app should run. You can choose daily or weekly. Step 4: Now, you can enable different functions to run automatically and delete items such as agents, requesters, or tickets. Then, choose after how many months the deletion should occur. Here are some examples for clarification: - If you choose the number 12, all agents who have been inactive for more than 12 months will be deleted, counting from the date of their last activity. - If you choose to enable the deletion of requesters, it will be based on their last updated date, but deletion will only occur if the requester has no tickets. - If you choose automatic deletion of tickets, you need to select the number of months after which the app should delete tickets based on their last update date. The app also allows you to add exceptions for agent deletion by entering the agent's email address. This can be useful, for example, if you have a service account that should not be deleted during automatic account deletion or if agents have a longer period of inactivity. Please note that deleted data cannot be restored, and all deleted data will be permanently lost.
