SaaS Management
Freshservice's integration with Jira for SaaS Management enables you to track and manage users using Jira directly within Freshservice. Integrating with Jira enables you to:
Discover Jira Software users and manage compliance along with granular user activity based usage. You can take advantage of this usage information for license harvesting.
This integration requires the SaaS Management Add-on. More details can be found here: https://support.freshservice.com/en/support/solutions/articles/50000003270
NOTE:
SaaS discovery is only supported via OAuth 2.0. The Inline Credentials (Basic Auth) Authentication mechanism can still be used but only for Orchestration actions via the workflows.
Atlassian Jira OAUTH 2.0 does not support Create/ Delete User orchestration actions. If you want to create and delete users via the Workflows, please create an additional config using the Inline Credentials (Basic Auth) Authentication mechanism.
