Using the email address of the ticket requester, relevant info about this contact is pulled from your OneCockpit installation. This includes address data, websites, customer groups, lead status, client value (all money you got from this client so far) and more detailed information about past purchases and status in email marketing services. Some common actions are possible from within Freshdesk now: to turn a contact into a lead, to unsubscribe the contact from a subscription product or from an email marketing service. A OneCockpit account of type Business or above is needed to use this app.

First, activate the Freshdesk integration inside your OneCockpit installation (if not done already). For this, you have to navigate inside your OneCockpit installation to "My account -> Settings -> Integrations", click on "Add new integration" and select Freshdesk. On the new page, enter your Freshdesk subdomain and your Freshdesk API key (found in your Freshdesk profile settings). After generating a secret key, save the settings. Then, inside Freshdesk, select the OneCockpit app and enter your OneCockpit subdomain and the secret key you just created into the settings page. Your Freshdesk subdomain should be set automatically. Shortly after entering your data, it will be shown if something does not match. Fix that, and after clicking on "Install", you are ready to go.
