Using this app, an agent can quickly toggle the ticket type with a single click. The option to toggle the ticket type is provided as a dedicated icon in the ticket details top navigation area. Note: This app will only convert ticket type ‘Incident’ to ‘Service Request’ and vice versa. It will not work for any other ticket types.

This was initially a 5* app. However, with the most recent update to Freshservice, this has changed. The toggle button now resides under an ellipses at the top of the screen rather than a button on the bar. This means it it takes 2 clicks to toggle a ticket, the same amount of clicks it takes to toggle a ticket in the ticket properties without this app. The clicks are besides the point. The ease of switching a ticket back and forth are now equal. This placement of this under the ellipses makes this app null and void.

It deletes all the information from the ticket

1. Head over to the Admin tab in Freshservice. 2. Under the Helpdesk Productivity tab, click on the “Apps” icon and goto “Get more Apps”. 3. When you find Quick Toggle Ticket Type app, simply click on the icon and hit install. 4. You can start using the app now.
