Freshservice integration with xMatters Connector enables IT service management teams to associate and sync the incidents and notes/conversations in xMatters with incidents, service requests, and notes/conversations in Freshservice, allowing real-time bidirectional updates between both the platforms. This ensures that updates in one application are automatically reflected in the other and vice-versa.
Note: The xMatters Connector app is available only for Pro and Enterprise accounts on Freshservice.

Here is a quick step-by-step flow on how to successfully integrate and use the xMatters Connector app.
1. Start installation:
Click Install to open the app configuration page.
2. Validate Freshservice credentials:
The first tab on the Configuration page is for validating Freshservice credentials.
The Domain URL and API key fields are auto-populated. Ensure that your Freshservice API Key is enabled before initiating the installation.
3. Configure xMatters settings:
After the Freshservice connection is validated, the next step is to configure xMatters Connector settings.
Enter your Client ID, Username, Password, and Company name details to connect your xMatters account.
4. Activate Alerts:
After xMatters connection is successful, the next step is to activate alerts.
Enable Alerts and add recipient email IDs to receive email notifications on any errors that are detected within the configured recipes.
5. Complete installation:
After all the details are validated, click Install to complete the installation.
