In order to install this ZeroBounce integration in Freshsales, you will be to enter the below 4 details in the installation page, 1) ZeroBounce API Key 2) Freshsales Domain 3) Freshsales API Key 4) Internal name of a custom text field where the ZeroBounce status will be displayed How to get the ZeroBounce API Key? 1) Login to your ZeroBounce account. 2) Access the API tab on the left nav bar or open the link - https://www.zerobounce.net/members/API 3) If you do not have an existing API key in ZeroBounce then click on "Create a new API Key" in the top right corner to generate a new API Key. 4) Copy the API Key displayed in ZeroBounce and paste it in the "ZeroBounce API Key" section in the installation page. How to get your Freshsales Domain? Freshsales domain is mentioned in the URL of your Freshsales account and is the section before ".myfreshworks.com". For example, if your Freshsales account URL is crm.myfreshworks.com then your Freshsales domain is "crm". Note - Currently this integration supports Freshsales accounts with URL containing "myfreshworks.com". How to get your Freshsales API Key? 1) Go to Personal settings in the top right corner in Freshsales. 2) Access the API tab under personal settings. 3) Copy the API key mentioned under "CRM API details" section and paste it in the Freshsales API Key section in the app installation page. How to create a custom text field in contacts module? The reason we need to create a custom text field in the contacts module is so that we can store the ZeroBounce response in a field which can later be used to filter contacts and export them from Freshsales whenever required. Without this field, the response will be stored under notes alone and so we won't be able to filter them within Freshsales. Following are steps to create this field, 1) Go to Admin settings in Freshsales -> Contacts. 2) Click on "Add field" and select "Text" (Do not select Text area") -> Click on Add selected. 3) Enter a field label like "ZeroBounce status" and this will create a field with internal name as "cf_zerobounce_status". 4) Enter the internal name of the field in the "Field internal name" section.
