Brazilian Supermarket Chain St. Marche Uses Freshworks’ IT Service Management System to Meet Employee Needs and Increase Productivity
St. Marche has implemented Freshservice to serve its 500 employees

Freshworks Inc (NASDAQ: FRSH), announced that Brazilian supermarket chain St. Marche chose Freshservice® for its low cost, high value solution to modernize IT service management. Using Freshservice, St. Marche can more efficiently delight 500 employees in 17 departments with easy to use software.
To support a distributed workforce in 2020, St. Marche decided to replace its legacy ITSM software for a high-performance tool that could be used by multiple teams. Starting with the technology team, St. Marche sought out software that would provide users more flexibility and a higher level of process automation to resolve internal employee requests more quickly.
“Our legacy software was costing us both financially and in terms of productivity, so we implemented Freshservice for IT service management within the technology area to start,” said Carlos Augusto Leite, who served as CTO at St. Marche until September 2022 and led the deployment of the solution. “St. Marche saw such great success with Freshservice that it’s expanding the solution to other areas of the company.”
According to Willian Pimentel, Senior Regional Director of Channels and Alliances for the Americas at Freshworks, the needs of St. Marche fit squarely within one of Freshworks’ main goals. “We believe business software should empower people, not frustrate them.
